The Office of Research Integrity and Compliance is committed to helping faculty, staff, and students comply with all applicable federal, state, and institutional requirements and policies. NOTICE: All Expedited protocol activity must be processed in WVU+kc after July 30, 2013
The WVU+kc electronic research administration system has been available for the submission of protocols since September 2012, and since then, over 1,000 members of the WVU research community have been trained and are successfully submitting protocols in the system. Since May 2013, all new Expedited, Exempt, NHSR, HUD, or Emergency Use protocols have been submitted in WVU+kc. The Office of Research Integrity and Compliance would like to announce that after July 30, 2013, the processing of activity on existing Expedited protocols in BRAAN will need completed in WVU+kc by entering the information as a new protocol. Submissions in BRAAN will only be available for new Full Board protocols and any activity on existing Full Board protocols already in BRAAN. Training is required in order to access WVU+kc and will be offered every other Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Room 209 of the Chestnut Ridge Research Building. To sign up for training, visit the WVU Online Calendar, search for “wvu+kc” in the keyword field (near the top right), click on the training date you prefer, and then click register at the top right of the screen.
If you are located on a non-Morgantown campus, such as an Extension Office, HSC Charleston or Eastern Division, and would like to sign up for remote training, contact the Research Office IT Department at 304.293.5967 to make arrangements.
